br> Tagging should be mostly a matter of common sense, so what is provided here is a list of DOs/DON'Ts. br> br>
- DO make your tags clear and descriptive.
- DON'T always leave Open tags as often Players do not feel the need to respond or are unsure about responding.
- DO make sure that the Player you've tagged is an author on the JP AND that they are participating in the RPG.
- DON'T assume that Players know or will go back and read previous additions to a JP and insert their character appropriately. Leave colorful and easy to find Tag Markers!
- DO feel free to leave notes/additional information in with tags rather than long, complicated OOCs at the bottom of the posts.
- DO Email or contact a GM/AGM/Player with tags if you want/need follow-up to a narrative post.
- DO leave a short OOC in the post if you are not going to be able to answer tags within a 48 hour time frame.
- DO contact Players, GMs/AGMs if tags are being left hanging and you have checked for OOCs or LOAs. A preferred form of contact is to simply send a note to the Catbox YahooGroups list. It will e-mail out to all authors automatically.
- DO NOT expect everyone else to keep a post flowing FOR YOU. If you created and/or set-up the scenario, then YOU need to police it.
- DON'T assume that Players want to participate in every personal character scene created. ASK FIRST.
- DO be courteous and pleasant in all of your correspondence! Answer your tags or communicate delays. This helps keep the game flowing smoothly by letting everyone know when and where they are needed.
