The Colonies - Caprica

Central in the system orbital pattern, Caprica is a blue-green world with an almost perfect climate. The planet has rolling hills, beautiful lakes, and deep thick forests. It's cities were heavily populated, yet somehow never seemed that way. Parks, rivers, and waterfalls were everywhere and Caprica's cities were so beautiful and comfortable that people rarely paid attention to the constant, steady streams of vehicles streaking past overhead.
Caprica was also the center of the Colonial Government, education, and culture. Its capital city of Delphi was home to all three branches of the colonial government as well as home to the largest, most powerful corporations and universities in the entire star system. Delphi was home to elaborate replicas of the Forum, Temple, and Opera House left behind on Kobol and here, the Museum of the Colonies was home to many displays of artifacts from the lost homeworld.
